SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (June 18, 2010) – Squier continues to make waves—big, booming waves—in summer 2010 with the introduction of two new bass guitar models, the Affinity Series™ Jazz Bass® V (Five-String) in Brown Sunburst and Classic Vibe™ ’60s Precision Bass® in Fiesta Red. Both deliver great Squier look, sound, feel and value.

The Affinity Jazz Bass V (Five-String), Squier’s value-priced version of the world-famous Fender Jazz Bass, is now available in a Brown Sunburst finish in addition to the black model introduced in 2007. It too has the look and sound that everyone knows and loves, with a one-piece maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, single-coil Jazz Bass V pickups, top-load bridge and die-cast tuners.

The Classic Vibe ’60s Precision Bass is now available in Fiesta Red—one of the most sought-after ’60s-era colors. The model continues to deliver a huge-sounding authentic Precision Bass experience, with alnico V pickup magnets, gloss maple neck with vintage tint, 9.5”-radius fingerboard with 20 vintage-style frets, and “HiMass” bridge with brass barrel saddles.
