HAYWARD, CA—Johnson introduces the JB-24 Deep Body Jumbo Bass for players looking for the warm tone of an acoustic bass but with an EQ pickup for amplified playing. The JB-24 is also available fretless, for bassists looking to add a unique acoustic/electric bass to their arsenals.

The Johnson Deep Body Jumbo Cutaway Acoustic/Electric Bass (JB-24) is perfect for players who want an acoustic bass sound that still offers the low-end characteristic of an electric bass. With a spruce top and rosewood fretboard, the Jumbo Cutaway has the warmth for traditional acoustic tones, and the 3-band EQ pickup allows players to sculpt the sound for any type of music and still sounds great when amplified. The Jumbo Cutaway is available in Natural and Black finishes, and is also available in Natural as a fretless model. This is a great-sounding, unique instrument for unique players.

The JB-24 Deep Body Jumbo Bass has a MAP of $217.49 and is available in natural, black or fretless (w/natural finish) options.
